Denver Broncos tight end Marcedes Lewis has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of the Week 9 matchup against the Houston Texans. Lewis joined the practice squad earlier in the week and is now on the active roster a few days later. The Broncos are banged up at tight end and could use another body for this weekend. The 41-year-old is unlikely to do much in terms of receiving as he hasn't hauled in more than six receptions in a single season since 2022. Lewis figures to be mainly a blocking option, so he'll be off the fantasy radar.--Andy Webb
