Denver Broncos wide receiver Troy Franklin broke out for the first time since Week 2 of the season, earning eight targets, catching six of them for 89 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 8 blowout victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Franklin's eight targets were a team high as the Cowboys' defense seemed to focus on eliminating alpha receiver Courtland Sutton from the game plan on Sunday. After only catching three passes on 10 targets last week, it was certainly encouraging to see a much more efficient day from Franklin, as he was a key opportunist in the offense on a day where quarterback Bo Nix threw for four total touchdowns. Franklin will look to maintain his momentum in Week 9 against a more relentless Houston Texans defense, but it will not be easy.--Luke DeMarcus
