Should I start Kendre Miller, TreVeyon Henderson, Isiah Pacheco for Week 6? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.
The early part of the season can be frustrating for fantasy managers waiting for their young rookie RB to take over the backfield. That is why it's important to also have playable depth at RB to ensure you don't get into too big a hole early in the season. Then, once the young back's role expands over the course of the season, that dynamic piece can supercharge the rest of your roster and elevate it to the next level.
Then there are young running backs we like as prospects who don’t break out as rookies for one reason or another and get pushed aside. But these “post-hype” players can often make a significant impact once the situation aligns in their favor.
New Orleans Saints Kendre Miller has among the best rushing peripherals in the league, New England Patriots rookie TreVeyon Henderson's usage has been frustrating this season, and is Isiah Pacheco the lead back in Kansas City? So, should fantasy managers start Henderson, Miller, and Pacheco in Week 6? Let's dive in and find out.

Should I Start Kendre Miller for Fantasy Football?
It's been exciting to see Miller get more usage this season behind veteran Alvin Kamara. As mentioned, he's been one of the most effective runners in the league on a per-touch basis. His 52.6% Avoided Tackle% is the best by a wide margin among qualified running backs, with Bijan Robinson being the next closest at 45.3%. He also ranks top five in Yards After Contact Per Attempt (3.7) and eighth in Explosive Run% (13.2%).
Kellen Moore on Kendre Miller:
“Kendre’s just done a phenomenal job since I’ve been here. I’ve really enjoyed this guy. I think he’s an awesome player.” pic.twitter.com/MMZfSnYvqV

His remarkable quality of play has led to more and more snaps every week. He played a season-high 41% of the snaps in Week 5 against the Giants. And now, Kamara missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. He was able to get in a limited practice on Thursday, but he is still day-to-day as of now.
It's a tougher matchup in Week 5 for Miller, facing a New England defense that has only given up 13.5 PPR points per game to opposing running backs, fifth lowest in the league. If Kamara is unable to go, then Miller would upgrade to must-start territory with the expectation that he would handle the full workload. If he's able to play, it'd likely leave Miller more in flex territory.
Should I Start TreVeyon Henderson for Fantasy Football?
Henderson has been among the most frustrating players to own for fantasy managers this season. It was to be expected that his role would gradually expand as the season went along, but now, with Antonio Gibson (knee) out for the season, his time is coming in Week 6.
Not to mention, Henderson has been seemingly put in the dog house for each mistake he's made in pass protection, but Rhamondre Stevenson is tied for the lead league with three fumbles and has been a consistent issue throughout his career, but has maintained the upper hand as the primary back for New England.
For fans who have patiently waited for more TreVeyon Henderson in the offense, here’s a nugget from the middle of McDaniels’ answer on the impact of Antonio Gibson’s injury:

It's worth pointing out that Henderson hasn't looked the best in his limited sample of touches. Among qualified rushers, his -1.3 RYOE/Attempt is the worst in the NFL, per NFL Pro. But he's still an incredibly explosive player with untapped upside as a receiver, which is hopefully put on display in Week 6. This could be Henderson's week to break out, and he's worth firing up as an RB2 with upside against a New Orleans defense that has been middle of the pack in terms of PPR points per game allowed to opposing running backs.
Should I Start Isiah Pacheco for Fantasy Football?
Pacheco had his most efficient outing of the year in Week 5 against Jacksonville, rushing for 36 yards on seven carries while catching all three of his targets for 20 yards. It was still an underwhelming fantasy day at 8.6 PPR points, but that's the second-best scoring game of the season so far for Pacheco.
The 26-year-old running back was not a target of mine during drafts, as his profile fits right into the "running back dead zone." He's not very efficient or dynamic with the ball in his hands and is reliant on the volume. For the season, he leads the Kansas City backfield with a 47.6% snap share, but actually has fewer touches on the season (48) than Kareem Hunt (49). And now, the rookie out of SMU, Brashard Smith, is starting to earn more work, although that's mostly been as a receiver.
Chiefs HC Andy Reid on RB Isiah Pacheco in Week 5: "I thought he did a good job, not only running, but catching the ball, blocking... everything that we asked of him."
— Charles Goldman (@goldmctNFL) October 8, 2025
The most concerning part for Pacheco is that the Chiefs have run the ball eight times inside the 10-yard line this season, and Hunt has handled seven of those carries, scoring three touchdowns. If he's not going to get the goal line work and he is maxing out around three targets per game at the high end, then it will be difficult for Pacheco to return value for fantasy managers. That leaves him as a recommended sit in Week 6 against Detroit.
