An MRI exam on Monday confirmed that Los Angeles Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt (ankle) suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the New York Giants, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Alt will seek multiple opinions on his injury, but he's expected to be out for several weeks. The 22-year-old was carted off on Sunday, but initial X-rays came back negative. Alt had moved from right tackle to left tackle after Rashawn Slater's season-ending knee injury.
