The New York Giants are making rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart their starting quarterback and will bench veteran Russell Wilson heading into a Week 4 contest this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Giants had a package of plays for Dart in the first three weeks, but he did not attempt a pass. Wilson threw for over 400 yards and three touchdowns in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, but he looked washed up in the other two games and led the team to an 0-3 start. With both general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll on the hot seat in 2025, they will turn to Dart early on to try to save their jobs. The 22-year-old from Ole Miss looked great in the preseason, going 32-for-47 for 372 yards, three TDs, and no interceptions, but he'll face a swarming L.A. defense in his first NFL start this weekend. Dart should be rostered in two-QB superflex leagues, but expect growing pains with more tough opponents coming on the Giants' schedule.--Keith Hernandez
