2025 Rotoballer F1 Fantasy League Update
Another race, another week of F1 Fantasy chaos in the RotoBaller league. Three of the top five fell out after the Hungarian Grand Prix. Well, the Dutch Grand Prix wanted to top that as we saw four of the top five squads plummet.
Only Stuart Allen remains from last week's group, but he has seen Jason Seidenberg pass him to top the league after 15 of the 24 races for the 2025 F1 Fantasy campaign. If you want to join the battle with the rest of us F1 Fantasy managers, use code P1JOTPHDW09 to join the 2025 league!

ONE BIG PREDICTION
Both Aston Martin drivers are knocked out in Q1 of Saturday's Qualifying.
Forza Ferrari
A tough week in the Netherlands has put Ferrari in a bad spot. However, a home race at Monza is a perfect opportunity to bounce back and create some breathing space in the Constructors' Championship between themselves and Mercedes for second place.
Well... things couldn't have gone worse on Sunday if you had Ferrari as a constructor in your F1 Fantasy squad. Unfortunately, those are the breaks when it comes to fantasy sports. Lewis Hamilton made a careless mistake, while Charles Leclerc found his Sunday cut short by a rookie error from Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes.
The damage was severe, but it could've been much worse. Fortunately, a Lando Norris DNF affected many teams that had diverged from the steady-eddy 2A Constructor build into a Triple McLaren, Triple Aston Martin build.
Regardless, it's unlikely Ferrari's value will increase this weekend at Monza, but that may not matter. They've traditionally been strong at their home race, and if you stomach another Sunday of having the Italian stallions in your squad, I would stick rather than twist.
There's a narrative in the F1 community that Ferrari ALWAYS brings it at Monza, but is that true? Let's look at the F1 Fantasy stats.
2022 (No Season-Long Data)*
🔴Ferrari: 84 points
🇲🇨Leclerc: 27 points
🇪🇸Sainz: 47 points2023

Tier B or Not Tier B?
While some F1 Fantasy managers stuck with Ferrari, many pivoted to a triple Aston Martin build. Should that be the new meta strategy in F1 Fantasy for the remainder of the 2025 campaign?
In the 2024 F1 Fantasy season, McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, and Mercedes finished inside the top-4 in 16 of 24 weekends. It demonstrated remarkable consistency among the top teams in the sport, making it a reliable lineup to select two of those four squads every weekend.
In 2025, those four teams have finished inside the top 4 in six of 15 races. It shows that the Tier B constructors are causing all kinds of chaos this season, and we can't just rely on the top 4 teams to carry our F1 Fantasy squads.
Aston Martin has been a prime example of this over the last two races in Hungary and Zandvoort, and now I reckon it's time for Williams to step up to the plate. Traditionally, they have some of the best races of the season at the Temple of Speed in Monza.
Alex Albon is coming off a 5th-place finish and averages 17.7 PPR over the last three races. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz has suffered from some rotten luck (including a collision with Liam Lawson last week) and feels like he's due for a standout result with his new team in 2025.
