Rodriguz took over primary closing duties in San Fran after the team traded Camilo Doval at the trade deadline, and he finished his second year in the big leagues as a first-time All-Star with a 1.78 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, four saves and a 67:11 K:BB in 50 2/3 frames.
