Evan Carter Done for Season
Evan Carter (wrist) to the 60-day injured list on Friday, which will end his season. Carter won't have enough time to make it back in September after he fractured his right wrist on a hit by pitch on Aug. 21. The oft-injured Carter played in just 45 games last year and was only able to suit up for 63 this season. He hit .247/.336/.392 with five homers, 25 RBI, 31 runs scored, and 14 stolen bases in 220 plate appearances in 2025. Set to turn 23 years old on Friday, Carter will come back next season looking to put together his first healthy campaign. With Carter unavailable, the Rangers have been using Wyatt Langford and Michael Helman in center field.
