The Philadelphia Eagles are acquiring offensive tackle Fred Johnson from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round draft pick. Johnson played for the Eagles in each of the past two seasons and will make a quick return to his former club. In 2024, Johnson appeared in all 17 regular-season games but only logged more than 70 snaps in one contest. Johnson began his career in Cincinnati and then played one season in Tampa Bay. Fantasy managers should expect Johnson to provide depth on the offensive line. Currently, starting left tackle Jordan Mailata is dealing with a concussion and left guard Landon Dickerson is recovering from a meniscus injury. If either starter were to miss time, Johnson could find a short-term starting job.--Andy Smith
