Washington Nationals interim general manager Mike DeBartolo announced Tuesday that outfielder Dylan Crews (oblique) was transferred to the 60-day injured list as he continues to recover from a left oblique strain. The move was made to make room on the 40-man roster for left-handed pitcher Konnor Pilkington, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Rochester. This will not affect Crews' return timeline, as he is close to beginning a rehab assignment after being out of action since the middle of May. The 23-year-old has not lived up to his prospect hype so far this season, slashing .196/.266/.354 with seven home runs, 15 RBI, and 11 stolen bases in 173 plate appearances.--Connelly Doan
