Jurickson Profar Could Stay in Leadoff Spot for Braves
Jurickson Profar keeps hitting like he is, he will probably stay in the leadoff spot, with outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. in the three-hole. Profar went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's victory over the New York Yankees, and since returning from his 80-game suspension from performance-enhancing drugs on July 2, he has gone 15-for-52 (.288) with three home runs, four doubles, eight RBI and nine runs scored in 12 games played. The 32-year-old veteran could remain in the leadoff spot, even after third baseman Austin Riley (abdomen) returns from the injured list. Profar has reached base six times in the three games hitting leadoff with Riley on the IL, and Acuna has also remained productive at No. 3. Sticking in the leadoff spot moving forward would be great news for Profar's fantasy managers.
