Dietrich Enns Solid in Team Debut
Dietrich Enns took the mound in a big league game on Thursday for the first time since 2021. Enns made his first start on the mound since 2017 and certainly made the most of it. He tossed five scoreless innings, allowing one hit, two walks, and struck out four batters in the win over the Athletics. This is a nice feel-good story, but Enns probably won't stick around on the Tigers for long. It sounds like Reese Olson (finger) is on the verge of returning, so he'll probably take over that spot in the rotation. Enns will probably head back to Triple-A, but this was still a nice outing from him.
