MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (6/26/25)

Teoscar Hernandez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Zach's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Thursday, 6/26/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Hello, RotoBallers! This Thursday afternoon, Major League Baseball offers a solid eight-game slate of fantasy baseball options with just one game under the lights. In this post, we'll look at the matchups and break down the top plays from the eight games in the afternoon, which is the main slate on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

A few arms from the top of the rotation are ready to take the mound, led by Hunter Brown of the Astros, taking on Cristopher Sanchez of the Phillies in a matchup of two of the top arms on the board. From the perspective of offense, a few matchups stand out as great spots to attack based on the environment and opposition. Another important storyline to keep an eye on is the return of Shota Imanaga for the Cubs.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/26/2025, with the slate starting at 1:10 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Hunter Brown - HOU vs. PHI (DK: $11.3; FD: $10.2K)

Both sites have Brown as the top arm on the board despite a tough matchup with the Phillies. The Astros have shut out the Phillies in the first two games of the series, and now they'll look to Brown to finish out a dominant and impressive sweep.

Brown has been outstanding all season, but over his last five starts, he has been even sharper. In those five starts, he has allowed just five total runs in 29 1/3 innings with a 1.35 ERA and 33.6% strikeout rate, as he stacked up 38 strikeouts over that span. Brown averaged 42.2 FanDuel points and 24.3 DraftKings points with at least 40 FanDuel points and 20 DraftKings points in four of those five outings.

Brown's high strikeout ceiling makes him worth a look, even though he's not a cheap play. He had to leave his last start early after just five innings with an elevated pitch count, but he usually brings a little more length with plenty of shutdown stuff.

Janson Junk - MIA at SF (DK: $7.5K; FD: $7.4K)

The Marlins rallied past the Giants in extra innings on Wednesday for their fourth straight win and can finish the sweep this Thursday afternoon in San Francisco. Junk has been solid all season and makes a good mid-range value with upside, even though he's technically only making his second start of the season. He worked as a bulk reliever before moving into Max Meyer's spot in the rotation in his last appearance. With Meyer out for the season, Junk should continue to get opportunities as a starter if he continues to be so effective.

The 29-year-old has pitched at least four innings in each of his six games this season, even when he was working out of the bullpen. He allowed more than one run only once all season and has a 2.60 ERA backed up by a 1.45 FIP and 2.81 SIERA. He allowed just one run on seven hits across 10 2/3 innings in his last two games and picked up nine strikeouts. He doesn't bring as high a ceiling as Brown, but he's a great value play against the Giants, who continue to struggle at the plate even after adding Rafael Devers to the mix.

Dietrich Enns - DET vs. ATH (DK: $6.5K; FD: $7.2K)

Another bargain play with some good potential upside is Dietrich Enns of the Tigers, who will be making his first appearance in the majors since September of 2021. The 33-year-old lefty spent the last three seasons in Japan and Korea before signing a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training this year.

Enns has been very solid with Toledo, going 2-2 in 14 starts for the Mud Hens with a 2.89 ERA, 2.97 FIP, and 71 strikeouts in 62 1/3 innings. In his last outing, he was especially impressive:

Enns is a high-risk play, but he comes extremely cheap on both sites and brings good upside against the Athletics, who have scored the seventh-fewest runs in the majors over the last two weeks and are hitting just .238 as a team over that span.

Also Consider: Tanner Bibee vs. TOR, Clayton Kershaw at COL

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Will Smith, C - LAD at Austin Gomber (DK: $6K, FD: $3.8K)

It's impossible to ignore the Dodgers' bats on this slate at Coors Field against lefty Austin Gomber, even though they are an expensive group. Smith did not play Wednesday, so he should be back in the batting order on Thursday for the afternoon game after the night game in Denver.

Smith is hitting an impressive .350 over his last 35 games with six home runs, nine doubles, 28 runs scored, and 23 RBI. All that production is backed up by a 46.5% hard-hit rate. Before his day off, the 30-year-old had two hits on Tuesday and has 11 multi-hit games in his last 20 with multiple at-bats. He's hitting .383 against lefties with a .504 wOBA in the split, and he's a great way to solve for a sometimes tricky catcher spot. You'll have to find other places to save salary to spend on Smith, but he has the potential to be worth it based on the matchup.

Jeremy Pena, SS - HOU vs. Cristopher Sanchez (DK: $4.9K, FD: $3.3K)

The Astros continue to get great work from Pena at the top of the batting order, and he has especially thrived against lefties. He has hit safely in six of his last seven games, boasting a .400 batting average and a .485 wOBA. Over his last 30 games, he has hit .366 with a .424 wOBA. With 11 home runs and 15 stolen bases on the season, he brings multiple paths to a big fantasy day.

Against southpaws like Sanchez, Pena is hitting .348 with a .416 wOBA this season, and at home, he's hitting .365 with a .421 wOBA. All the splits look tilted in his favor this Thursday, and he remains relatively affordable at a premium position.

Brooks Lee, 2B/3B/SS (FD only)  - MIN vs. Emerson Hancock (DK: $2.9K, FD: $2.8K)

Lee is a great value play with lots of versatility that can fit into multiple roster builds and bring upside along with steady production at his bargain salary. The switch-hitter has moved up in the order for the last couple of games and has hit safely in 22 of his last 23 games with an at-bat. Over that stretch, he is hitting .348 with three doubles, three homers, and a .370 wOBA.

Lee is hitting .297 at home with .326 wOBA, and Hancock has been extremely hit-or-miss for the Mariners and given up plenty of fantasy production in several of his recent starts.

Also Consider: Jonathan India, 2B/3B (FD only)/OF (FD only) - KC, Willi Castro, 2B/3B (FD only)/SS (FD only)/OF, Freddie Freeman, 1B - LAD, Addison Barger, 3B/OF - TOR

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Teoscar Hernandez, OF - LAD at Austin Gomber (DK: $5.9K, FD: $4K)

Hernandez is another potent right-handed bat to consider against Gomber and the Rockies at Coors this Thursday afternoon. He has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, going 13-for-46 (.283) with four homers, a .388 wOBA, and a 60.6% hard-hit rate.

Hernandez has multiple hard-hit batted ball events in five of his last seven games and has had three hard hits in each of the first two games at Coors. Even though he hasn't hit a homer, he's hitting the ball well, and if that continues, he has a good shot at a big game.

Andy Pages, OF - LAD at Austin Gomber (DK: $5.2K, FD: $3.7K)

Pages is another way to get some Dodgers exposure without breaking the bank. He has picked up two hits in each of the first two games of the series and is hitting a scalding .350 over his last 27 games with seven doubles, seven home runs, and a .415 wOBA. The 24-year-old is mashing lefties and makes a lot of sense to include as part of a stack or an individual play since he has such a high ceiling.

Jahmai Jones, OF/2B (FD only) - DET vs Jeffrey Springs (DK: $2.5K, FD: $2.4K)

If you need to balance out your spending with a cheap play in the outfield, Jones is a strong option to consider, especially if he's hitting second in the order against lefty Jeffrey Springs. Jones hit .276 with six home runs and eight stolen bases in Triple-A this year before joining the Tigers three weeks ago.

Jones has hit .385 with a pair of homers since his promotion, with a 70% hard-hit rate and 20% barrel rate. He has earned plenty of respect with great at-bats and is working his way into more playing time. If he hits second in what should be a productive order on Thursday, he's a steal at this salary.

Also Consider: Kyle Tucker, OF - CHC, Brent Rooker, OF - ATH, Jordan Beck, OF - COL

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Los Angeles Dodgers at Austin Gomber (COL)

The Los Angeles Dodgers will once again be a popular stack at Coors Field in a great matchup against Gomber. He does typically fare better against lefties, so I prefer leaning into the right-handed side of the Dodgers' lineup to build a stack around Smith, Hernandez, and Pages.

Gomber has only made two starts this season, giving up nine runs in 9 2/3 innings, but lefties have still hit just .143 against him, while righties have hit .382 with a .498 wOBA. Part of that drastic split is due to sample size, but last season and throughout his career, righties have had much more success against him.

Minnesota Twins vs. Emerson Hancock (SEA)

Hancock has spun a few good games, but the 26-year-old righty gave up nine runs and four home runs in his most recent start against the Cubs. Overall, he has a 5.43 ERA and 5.49 FIP. Lefties have hit 11 of the 14 homers he has allowed and have a .378 wOBA against him.

With the switch-hitting Lee as a starting place, the Twins have lots of value options to blend into a Dodgers stack or play separately from Los Angeles. Trevor Larnach, Matt Wallner, and Byron Buxton are all good power options, and Carlos Correa and Willi Castro make sense as high-contact players to consider as well.

Also Consider: Tampa Bay Rays vs. Michael Lorenzen (KC), Chicago Cubs at Andre Pallante (STL)
