Boston Red Sox infield prospect Mikey Romero (undisclosed) was activated off the 7-day injured list on Friday. Romero was initially placed on the injured list on June 4 due to an undisclosed injury. However, the No. 11-ranked prospect in the system was able to make a rather quick return to action. Before his injury, Romero was starting to find his footing at Double-A. Through 36 games with Double-A Portland, Romero has posted a solid .246/.355/.457 slash line with 10 doubles, two triples, five home runs, and three stolen bases. The infielder made his Double-A debut last season and posted a similar .800 OPS across a 16-game stint. Fantasy managers should expect Romero to be in the mix to join Triple-A later in the second half of the campaign.--Andy Smith
