Marcus Stroman to Throw a Bullpen on Tuesday
Marcus Stroman (knee) has been dealing with persistent discomfort in his left knee, but tests have not shown any structural damage. Stroman threw a side session on Saturday and is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Tuesday, according to MLB.com. The 34-year-old veteran is currently on the 15-day injured list with left-knee inflammation, but there's still a chance he can return before the end of May if his bullpen session goes off without a hitch on Tuesday. Right-hander Will Warren has held his own in New York's starting rotation this year with Stroman on the injured list, so when Stroman is ready, fantasy managers shouldn't just assume he'll be back in the rotation in the Bronx. The two-time All-Star looked washed up in his first three starts in 2025 before getting hurt, allowing 12 earned runs while walking seven and striking out seven in 9 1/3 frames.
