Per Rainer Sabin and Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Lions have signed undrafted free-agent wide receiver Jakobie Keeney-James to a three-year, $2.985 million deal. The Massachusetts product is set to compete for a spot on the Lions' active roster, joining fellow rookie wideout Isaac TeSlaa as new acquisitions for 2025. Keeney-James didn't post eye-popping stats at either of his stops in college (EWU), though he did catch 50 balls last season and turned them into 839 yards (16.8 per reception) and six touchdowns. The 24-year-old isn't a burner (4.59 40-yard dash) and has quite a ways to go for playing time. We'll see if he can make a big enough splash over the next few months to stick with the organization.--Alex Ciulla
