NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Penn State Nittany Lions edge rusher Abdul Carter (foot) is visiting with the New England Patriots on Monday. The 21-year-old has officially visited with each of the top four teams in the NFL Draft. Carter recently got the excellent news that the stress reaction in his foot is healing and won't require surgery. According to Pelissero, he's "on track" medically. The Philadelphia native was a menace in 2024, racking up 68 tackles, 12 sacks, and a whopping 24 tackles for loss. He's explosive, relentless, and physical at the point of attack, making him an excellent choice at the top of the draft. Per the NFL's grading system (athleticism estimated), Carter has an even 7.00 prospect grade -- marking him as a Pro Bowl talent.--Alex Ciulla
