The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they re-signed restricted free-agent defensive tackle Chris Williams and exclusive-rights free-agent defensive tackle Jonathan Ford, defensive end Daniel Hardy, offensive guard Bill Murray and cornerback Ameer Speed. In his first full season in the NFL with the Bears in 2024, Williams totaled 23 tackles (17 solo), three sacks and seven QB hits in 17 games (one start). The 26-year-old interior lineman will return for a second season in Chicago to provide rotational depth for the Bears defense. Williams went undrafted out of Wagner before joining the Indianapolis Colts for his rookie year in 2021. The 6-foot-3, 302-pounder had just six tackles (three solo) in 13 games (zero starts) in his first two years with the Colts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
