CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/16/25)

Memphis Tigers - NCAA College Team Logo Stock

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/16/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

It's Selection Sunday, but we still have four games before the brackets are unleashed upon the masses. We start with the SEC Championship between Tennessee and Florida, with a likely No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament hanging in the balance. The A-10 Final between Virginia Commonwealth and George Mason could determine the fate of a bubble team. VCU is likely in, no matter what. George Mason is looking to get another A-10 team in.

The afternoon starts with the AAC Championship between UAB and Memphis. Memphis is in, no matter the result. A UAB win means that some other team (Boise State or UC-Irvine) is left out. The last game on Selection Sunday is for a 3-seed in the NCAA Tournament between Michigan and Wisconsin.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/16/25, starting at 1 p.m. EDT. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

PJ Haggerty, Memphis ($9K)

That's how Haggerty started the week. Although he "only" scored 18 points against Tulane yesterday, Haggerty still scored 37.25 DraftKings points. Tulane was the only team that had held him under 30 DK points since January 2.

Haggerty had two strong games against UAB this year, scoring 48 points with 13 assists and eight rebounds. It's not unreasonable to expect more than 40 DK points out of Haggerty today. Considering all of the matchups on the slate, Haggerty is in one of the better spots.

John Tonje, Wisconsin ($8K)

Tonje can be lethal when his shot is falling. It has been all week in Indianapolis. Tonje is 24-of-39 from the floor in Wisconsin's three games of the Big Ten (18) Tournament. Tonje scored a solid 18 points (25.75 DK points) in the first game against Michigan, but considering his week so far, I'm expecting more today.

Jordan Gainey, Tennessee ($5.9K)

Tennessee has gotten a lot of mileage out of their guards this year. If they are to poach a top NCAA Tournament seed from Houston, they'll need it again. Gainey isn't the most flashy of these guards, but he is the most consistent (and the most underpriced).

Gainey has at least 20 DraftKings points in six of the last eight games. The last time Tennessee faced Florida on February 1, Gainey notched 34.5 DraftKings points, his second-highest total of the season.

K.D. Johnson, George Mason ($4.8K)

George Mason runs a lot of guards around 25 minutes per game. Johnson is mostly the scorer, but when he's on the court without Jared Billups, he gets some assists in as well. Johnson hasn't been under 15 DraftKings points since February 5. That's the kind of consistency I want in a value play.

Also consider: Max Shulga, Virginia Commonwealth ($8.1K); Chaz Lanier, Tennessee ($7.5K); Alijah Martin, Florida ($6.9K); Zeb Jackson, Virginia Commonwealth ($5.7K); Jared Billups, George Mason ($4.9K); PJ Carter, Memphis ($3.5K, if Tyrese Martin is out)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Yaxel Lendeborg, UAB ($9.6K)

While many of Lendeborg's peers parlayed mid-major dominance in last year's NCAA Tournament into lucrative NIL deals at major schools (Trey Townsend, Great Osobor, and Danny Wolf, to name a few), Lendeborg elected to stay at UAB. Unfortunately, the Blazers need this win for Lendeborg to get another shot in the NCAA Tournament.

Lendeborg knows this. He has gone nuclear in Fort Worth. Lendeborg has 142.25 DraftKings points in the first two games of the AAC Tournament. Memphis limited him because of foul trouble in the last meeting two weeks ago, but Lendeborg put up 44 DK points in the Tigers in the first meeting.

Danny Wolf, Michigan ($8.7K)

This Wisconsin team is not good defensively in the middle. Wolf punished the Badgers for 52.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting. The bad news is that the game was over three months ago, and Wolf has only hit 50 DK points once. However, Wolf has 44 in three straight games. It may happen again.

Moussa Cisse, Memphis ($5.3K)

Cisse is frustratingly inconsistent, but every once in a while, he pops with a double-double. Such was the case yesterday. The bad news is that was Cisse's first double-double since February 16 and just his third of the season. If you feel like playing roulette, Cisse is your man. The good news is that he should play good minutes trying to handle Lendeborg today.

Carter Gilmore, Wisconsin ($4.1K)

Gilmore has played more than 20 minutes in five straight games. It culminated last night in a great all-around 30 minutes in the upset of the Spartans. Gilmore put up 32.75 DraftKings points, which was more than his previous three games combined.

Also consider: Dain Dainja, Memphis ($8.6K); Vladislav Goldin, Michigan ($8.3K); Jalen Haynes, George Mason ($7.4K); Jack Clark, Virginia Commonwealth ($6.5K); Felix Okpara, Tennessee ($5.1K); Luke Bamgboye, Virginia Commonwealth ($4.4K)
