Dynasty Fantasy Football League Quarterback Draft Rankings: Who Is the QB1 For 2025?

Who to draft as the QB1 in 2025 dynasty fantasy football leagues. Is Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, or Jayden Daniels the dynasty QB1 heading into the 2025 offseason?

Having an elite quarterback in dynasty leagues will go a long way for your fantasy team. The quarterback position usually provides fantasy managers with the most points every week, and these quarterbacks can sometimes win matchups by themselves. Of the top 10 players who scored the most fantasy points last season, seven were quarterbacks. 

That means having one of the top quarterbacks in one-quarterback or Superflex dynasty leagues is so important. Although everyone has their own dynasty rankings, the top dynasty quarterbacks currently are probably Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Jayden Daniels. These three quarterbacks were all fantasy superstars last year and should be for a long time.  

So, is Allen, Jackson, or Daniels the QB1 in dynasty fantasy football leagues right now? Let's dive in and find out.

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills 

Allen has been the best fantasy quarterback over the past few years. Since 2020, the Bills signal-caller has finished as a top-2 fantasy quarterback in every season. He has three QB1 finishes and two QB2 finishes during that span. Last season, he finished as the QB2 in all formats behind another strong fantasy campaign. 

Allen averaged 22.65 fantasy points per game and finished as a top-7 fantasy quarterback in 10 of 16 games. He also had an insane stretch from Week 6 to Week 15, where he averaged 28.5 fantasy points per game over those nine weeks. Dynasty managers might also recall his best performance during that stretch coming against the Rams in Week 14 when he scored 51.88 fantasy points.

Those big games are nothing new for Allen. He has been doing that for five consecutive seasons while emerging as one of the best dynasty assets in both Superflex and one-quarterback leagues. Although the Bills quarterback will be turning 29 years old in a few months, his age shouldn't affect his dynasty value too much. He still has plenty of strong QB1 fantasy years left in him. 

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Jackson has become one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, winning two MVPs in two of the past six seasons. He is also coming off the best fantasy season of his career in 2024. He finished as the overall QB1 for the second time in six years and just scored a career-high 434.38 fantasy points. 

As a result, the Ravens quarterback was easily the best fantasy option at the position this past season behind his 45 total touchdowns. He averaged 25.55 fantasy points per game and finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in 14 of 17 games. Given Jackson's rushing upside, he was almost always guaranteed to score at least 20 fantasy points every week.

Unlike Allen, though, Jackson hasn't been as consistent of a fantasy option in recent years. Despite finishing as the QB1 (2024) and QB4 (2023) across the last two seasons, the two-time MVP has finished outside the top 8 at the position in three of the past five years (2020, 2021, and 2022). However, his most recent fantasy season makes him a top dynasty asset at age 28. 

Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders

No quarterback has seen his dynasty value rise as much as Daniels since the beginning of the 2024-2025 season. That's because the Washington Commanders quarterback just had the greatest rookie season of all time. He threw for 3,568 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions while running for 891 yards and six touchdowns. 

That impressive season helped Daniels finish as the QB5 in PPR formats. He averaged 21.46 fantasy points per game and scored above 20 fantasy points in 11 of his 15 full starts. The young quarterback also became an even stronger fantasy option down the stretch, as he averaged 30.8 fantasy points from Week 12 to Week 17.

Therefore, it's not crazy to put Daniels among the top dynasty quarterbacks right now. He just turned 24 years old and is coming off arguably the greatest rookie quarterback season in NFL history. Given his rushing upside and the fact he doesn't turn 25 years old until December, the former LSU product has the potential to be a strong quarterback option in dynasty leagues for the next decade. 

Who Is The Dynasty QB1?

At the end of the day, all three of these quarterbacks have a case to be the dynasty QB1. Allen has been the consistent fantasy quarterback over the last few years. Jackson is coming off the best fantasy season of his career, and Daniels just finished as the QB5 in his age-23 season as a rookie. 

However, the current dynasty QB1 title has to belong to Allen. He has scored over 400 fantasy points in three of the past five seasons, and the only reason he didn't cross that 400-point threshold in the other two years was because of a suspended Week 17 game (2022) and choosing to sit out the final week of the season (2024). 

As a result, it's really hard to argue against Allen being the best fantasy quarterback in dynasty formats. He still has plenty of elite years left in him, and his rushing upside will help him finish toward the top of the position group every season. The Bills quarterback has rushed for 1,055 yards and 27 touchdowns over the last two years. 

After Allen, Daniels might come in as the dynasty QB2. He is only going to improve as a passer, and a 1,000-yard rushing season is certainly in the cards for the Commanders quarterback over his career. Given that he is four years younger than Jackson, he might be the better dynasty quarterback of the two moving forward. 

Now, you can't go wrong with any of these three quarterbacks in dynasty leagues. All should post elite fantasy numbers for years to come and have a strong chance to finish as a top-four quarterback every season. If you can try to acquire any of these quarterbacks this offseason, it's something that you should definitely try to do.
