According to Chris Johnston of The Athletic, Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes (oblique) will not participate in the 4 Nations Face-Off. As a result, Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson will take his spot on Team USA. Hughes missed Vancouver's four previous contests leading up to the tournament. Given that he is sitting out, this injury could be serious and may cause him to miss additional time following the international break. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to Vancouver's first game on February 22 after the break against the Vegas Golden Knights. Before his injury, Hughes was riding an eight-game point streak. During this stretch, the 25-year-old tallied five goals and seven helpers with 21 total shots on goal.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
