The Minnesota Vikings defense/special teams is a solid play against the Los Angeles Rams, albeit with a slightly diminished ceiling. Minnesota's defense was a turnover machine this year, and it was elite against opposing offenses' rushing attacks. In addition to leading the league in turnovers forced with 33 (24 INTs), the Vikings shut down opponent's ground games – allowing the second-fewest rushing yards per contest (93.4). The Rams have been better over the last few months and are on the upswing. However, they scored the thirteenth-fewest points per game in the NFL this season (21.6) and will likely have to beat the Vikes through the air against their pass-funnel defense.
