Opponent - Colorado Avalanche
McTavish is currently mispriced on DraftKings at $3,900, which is advantageous for us. Tonight, he faces an Avalanche team that has suffered four straight losses to start the season, allowing 25 goals in those games. Although McTavish has yet to score this season, he recently had a strong performance, providing two assists and taking three shots in his last game.
In his two road games, his line has generated 15.09 high-danger chances for per 60 minutes, while the Avalanche rank 24th overall in high-danger chances allowed, at 12.6 per 60 minutes. This matchup could be the highest-scoring game of the night, and McTavish and his line represent a sneaky opportunity to gain exposure to it.

Jordan Martinook - DK $2.9K || FD $3.8K

Martinook is part of one of the best shutdown lines in the NHL. On home ice, they consistently face the other team's top lines, but it's a different story on the road, where they rarely match up against the top six of opposing teams. Last season, Martinook and Jordan Staal were among the best at generating high-danger chances while playing away, boasting an impressive rate of 13.39 per 60 minutes.
Through two home games, the Penguins rank last in the NHL, allowing a staggering 19.79 high-danger chances against per 60 minutes. I like Martinook tonight at his price; he is one of my top-value plays on the slate.

On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Penguins have struggled defensively, allowing a notable 23 shots on net from opposing defensemen during their last two home games. This statistic highlights a potential weakness that we are keen to exploit tonight, aiming to take full advantage of the opportunities it presents.
