DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (9/13/24)

Noah Fifita - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Friday (9/13/24). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We have a couple of warm-ups before another monster day tomorrow. This warm-up features four FBS teams, including three Power-4 teams. That's a nice little treat on a Friday night!

First up, we have UNLV making the trip to Lawrence to take on Kansas. The nightcap is about 90 minutes away in the Little Apple with Arizona in town. This is a great little slate!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/13/24, locking at 7 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Noah Fifita, Arizona ($8.6K)

Much is being made about the Dynamic Duo's pedestrian game against Northern Arizona. While it is mildly concerning, Fifita and McMillan are never far off. It's a blip on the radar. They'll be locked in tonight in the Little Apple.

Most touts are taking the over on Fifita's passing yards prop (262.5). I feel fine spending up for Fifita. An inexperienced Tulane quarterback had his way with Wille's defense last weekend.

Matthew Sluka, UNLV ($6.9K)

Sluka is more like the UNLV quarterbacks from the last decade or so. He's a capable passer, but it's not one of his real strengths. Sluka's rushing ability gives him the upside that makes me want to use him in the superflex slot. Sluka led the Rebels to a win in Houston and mostly took snaps in the blowout win over Utah Tech. He'll be needed if the Rebels are going to knock off another Big 12 (14) team.

Also consider: Jalon Daniels, Kansas ($8.2K); Avery Johnson, Kansas State ($7.8K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

DJ Giddens, Kansas State ($7.6K)

The string of triple-digit games on the ground isn't all Giddens does. He has already caught seven passes this season, which is a lot of free points. Giddens' involvement in the offense is reminiscent of how the Wildcats used Deuce Vaughn during his senior year. The usage of Giddens makes him worth every penny.

Quali Conley, Arizona ($7.1K)

Conley is also heavily relied on in this Arizona offense. He has eight receptions in two games to give us some more free points. Conley has 35 touches over the first two games and has made a lot out of them. 202 rushing yards and 67 through the air with three total touchdowns in a nice return.

With the status of Jacory Croskey-Merritt in limbo for this game and possibly the rest of the season, Conley's workload should only increase. He still had 13 touches with JCM in the lineup in the opener. That went up to 23 last week without him.

Also consider: Devin Neal, Kansas ($7.4K); Dylan Edwards, Kansas State ($6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Tetairoa McMillan ($8.6K)

After seeing what Tulane did to the K-State secondary (342 passing yards), I wonder what Arizona is going to do. They nuked New Mexico's defense in the opener before going quiet against Northern Arizona. I trust more of what I saw in Week 1. There is an avenue to another huge game for McMillan.

Luke Grimm, Kansas ($6.2K)

The strength of the Kansas offense last year was spreading the ball around. So far this season, Grimm has been the main target for Daniels. He has 15 receptions in the first two games of the season. Grimm seems to be running better routes this year, which leads to more open looks. Whatever it is, I'm here for it. It's nice to find one reliable receiver in the Kansas offense. That was a luxury we didn't have in 2023.

Will Swanson, Kansas State ($3.6K)

Tight end is such a key piece of the Kansas State offense that I'm drawn to that position DFS. The problem is that Garrett Oakley is on the field as much if not more than Swanson. However, Swanson had the big reception in the win over Tulane last week. It feels like they look to Howard when they want a tight end to do more than block.

Also consider: Ricky White III, UNLV ($7.7K); Lawrence Arnold, Kansas ($5K); Keagan Johnson, Kansas State ($4.1K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Arizona

What Tulane did to the K-State secondary doesn't usually happen. This Arizona passing game is elite whereas Tulane's is just "good." There's nothing wrong with good, but Arizona's is on another level.

You need both Fifita and McMillan. I like Quali Conley a good bit as well. Jeremiah Patterson is the other receiver you want, but when McMillan-Fifita is firing on all cylinders, there isn't much left over.

Kansas State

The Wildcats of the Arizona variety allowed a ton of points (and yards) to New Mexico in the opener. K-State is going to try to run to control the clock and play keep away from the Arizona offense. Giddens is a must-play and Avery Johnson isn't far behind. I would add Dylan Edwards to this stack as opposed to a receiver. The Wildcats haven't had a receiver step up yet. They are all big risks.

Also consider: Kansas, UNLV
