Who Should I Draft? Cooper Kupp, Amari Cooper, DJ Moore Fantasy Football Outlooks (2024)

DJ Moore - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Should I draft Cooper Kupp, Amari Cooper, or DJ Moore in 2024 fantasy football? Justin Pottinger breaks down which star WR is the best choice.

This year, three standout names, Cooper Kupp, Amari Cooper, and DJ Moore, offer unique opportunities to anchor your roster with consistent, high-upside production.

Whether it’s Kupp’s elite target share in a high-octane offense, Cooper’s undeniable chemistry with a rejuvenated Deshaun Watson, or Moore’s fresh start as the focal point of Chicago’s passing game, these wideouts bring immense value to your fantasy squad.

Let’s dive into why these three should or shouldn't be on your draft radar this season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Cooper Kupp Fantasy Football Outlook

Drafting Cooper Kupp in fantasy football is a no-brainer when considering his potential to be the league’s top wide receiver. Kupp is back to full health, along with his quarterback Matthew Stafford

The last time the Rams duo was fully healthy in 2021, Kupp delivered a historic season, racking up 1,947 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. Last season, we saw signs of rebirth as he hauled in 59 receptions in 12 games, but he was playing hurt nearly every week.

Now, heading into the 2024 season, Kupp is fully healthy and poised to reclaim his status as a fantasy juggernaut. Those worried about Puka Nacua shouldn't worry, as all signs in training camp have pointed toward Kupp being the number one option in the Rams’ offense.

With a proven track record and a vital role in a pass-heavy offense, Kupp offers the upside of a league-winning asset on draft day. Sitting at the WR18 in most formats, fantasy managers should be willing to reach out to him in the early third round.

Amari Cooper Fantasy Football Outlook

Amari Cooper is a wideout on my radar in fantasy football this year, especially considering his strong finish to last season. Cooper recorded 1,250 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 2023, solidifying his role as the top target in the Cleveland Browns’ offense.

What makes Cooper particularly enticing is his chemistry with quarterback Deshaun Watson. Cooper averaged an impressive 18.8 points per game in PPR leagues in the five games they played together last season.

As Watson regains his form, Cooper’s production is poised to take another leap, making him a high-upside pick for your fantasy roster. Sitting at just WR24, his discounted price to be a high-end WR2 in 2024 should be considered by all fantasy managers.

DJ Moore Fantasy Football Outlook

DJ Moore has promise, but he has a lot of questions about how he will produce in fantasy football this season. Last season, Moore hauled in 96 receptions for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns, showcasing his ability to be a true WR1.

Now, he’s entering a new chapter with the Chicago Bears, where he’ll be catching passes from rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, one of the most hyped prospects in recent memory. Adding veteran Keenan Allen and rookie Rome Odunze to the team only bolsters Moore’s outlook.

With Allen and Odunze on the first, they’ll draw coverage away, allowing Moore to exploit matchups. Adding these two wideouts probably means that Moore won't produce as well as last season, but the upside is that his ADP isn't inflated, and he is being drafted as the WR20.

With his combination of talent and the dynamic new pieces around him, Moore is poised for another big year, making him a top target in fantasy drafts.

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?

When deciding between Cooper Kupp, Amari Cooper, and DJ Moore this year in fantasy football, all signs point toward Kupp being the best selection. Even though he has the highest ADP, with Kupp being fully healthy and his ADP being just a third or fourth-round selection, his potential should be mouth-watering for fantasy managers.

Both Cooper and Moore are wideouts that fantasy managers should be confident in, but Kupp seems like the safest option among three wide receivers with similar ADPs.
