Davante Adams's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Davante Adams for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Solid WR2
ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams rates as a solid fantasy WR2 play on Sunday when his team faces the Minnesota Vikings, who allow the 15th-most passing yards per game in the NFL.
After some struggles earlier in the season, Davante Adams has come on strong lately, posting three consecutive games with 70 or more receiving yards. Last time out against Kansas City, Adams was targeted seven times, catching five passes for 73 yards. He's averaged six catches for 80.3 yards over the past three games.
The Raiders are treating Adams like the top receiver he is, and he's responded by posting some strong numbers. While there's always a chance that a team starting a rookie quarterback ends up struggling to move the ball, Aidan O'Connell has thrown the ball relatively well and continues to get Adams involved in the passing game.
While fantasy managers probably aren't at a point where they can be comfortable with Adams as their No. 1 wide receiver, he's an ideal WR2 in fantasy due to his role and his upside. He should be started in all fantasy leagues in Week 14.
