The team added one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League, Davante Adams, solely for the purpose of giving their quarterback the weapon that would put the offense over the top. Unfortunately, things didn't go according to plan, as the team had a miserable season in 2022 finishing with a 6-11 record and missing the playoffs.

The QB himself was average at best last season throwing for 3,522 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions while adding 102 rushing yards. According to all reports, the former Fresno State University star is taking this time to find the best fit for him and his family.
