If you're not a fan of either team that is playing in the Super Bowl on February 12th, 2023, you don't have to worry. The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is going to be epic and one for the ages.

The Chiefs are the reigning AFC Champions and are led by superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, while the Eagles were the best team in the NFC this season, and are dominant on both sides of the ball. I expect this game to be close, and one we will remember for years to come.

Kansas City last played in the big game in 2020 where they lost to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, and Philadelphia was there in 2017 when they beat the Patriots. So who wins in 2023?

Both of these entertaining and talented teams have one special quality that sets that apart from the rest, and those are the main reasons they made it to the big game. The team from Missouri boasts perhaps one of the top ten quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL, playing in the prime of his career. Their opponent from Pennslyvania owns the top defense in the league this season, and boy, are they nasty.

So who will come out on top? The squad that's led by the young and incredibly gifted 27-year-old future Hall of Fame quarterback that is appearing in his third Super Bowl? Or will it be the shutdown, pass-rushing freaks from Philly led by another young and talented star signal caller in Jalen Hurts?

The pretenders have been eliminated, and we are down to the final two contenders to hoist one of the ultimate prizes in sports, the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

According to the oddsmakers, the Eagles are the favorites at (-125) as things currently stand. The Chiefs have certainly had the more difficult road to get here, as they had to beat an up-and-coming Jacksonville Jaguars team, and then follow that up with a 23-20 barnburner win against their nemesis, the Cincinnati Bengals. Philadelphia easily defeated an overmatched New York Giants team in the Divisional round and then dominated the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship, who were playing their fourth-string quarterback.

My prediction is simple. Despite the magic Mahomes is able to provide at any given moment, the Eagles are the better team, and this is their time. The game will be exciting and close and there will be twists and turns that will take you on a wild ride. In the end, Hurts and the juggernaut Philadelphia defense will prove to be too much for the Chiefs.
