Due to the holidays, the majority of Week 16 games will be held on Saturday. As we head into the weekend, fantasy managers must closely monitor all significant injury news. These are the latest notable injury updates as of Saturday, December 24.
Fantasy football stalwarts such as Christian McCaffrey, Jalen Hurts, Rhamondre Stevenson, and many more have been dealing with injuries ahead of Week 16. We have plenty of must-starts on this week's injury list, so fantasy managers should be ready to pivot should things go south.

Rhamondre Stevenson Injury Update
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is expected to play in Week 16 versus the visiting Bengals.
Despite entering the Week 15 meeting with the Raiders carrying a questionable designation, Stevenson still ended the day with a touchdown and a season-high 172 yards off 19 carries. Although Damien Harris (thigh) may suit up on Christmas Eve, his presence shouldn't impact Stevenson's status as the No. 1 option on the depth chart, as he will likely continue to receive a bulk of the work out of the backfield.
Damien Harris Injury Update
New England Patriots running back Damien Harris (thigh) is questionable for the Week 16 meeting against Cincinnati, with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport labeling him a game-time call.
The 25-year-old hasn't played in a month because of a thigh injury. He did manage to log limited practice sessions throughout the week, so it appears he could be back soon even if he doesn't suit up on Saturday. Fantasy managers can monitor his status before game time, though Harris' fantasy upside would be limited even if he suits up on Christmas Eve.
Jalen Hurts Injury Update
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) is sidelined for Saturday's meeting against Dallas. However, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there's concern that the signal-caller won't be available in Week 17 versus the New Orleans Saints either.
ESPN's Stephania Bell also chimed in on Schefter's update, reporting that the team may take a "conservative" approach regarding Hurts' return due to the nature of his injury, meaning it's certainly possible he won't be back until the postseason. Fortunately, Philly has Gardner Minshew to handle things under center moving ahead.
Brandin Cooks Injury Update
Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (calf) is expected to play on Saturday versus Tennessee, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The veteran hasn't been on the field in nearly a month because of a calf injury, last suiting up for the Week 12 meeting with Miami.
The Titans defense has struggled against opposing wideouts this season. However, considering Cooks has had arguably the worst year of his career, fantasy managers will be taking a gamble with him in the lineup on Christmas Eve, even more so with the underwhelming play of Davis Mills throughout the 2022-23 campaign.
Chris Olave Injury Update
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (hamstring) has been ruled out for a Week 16 contest versus the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.
Olave missed practice all week. He is the Saints' leading receiver and has been a top-25 wideout in half-point PPR setups in his first NFL season. The 22-year-old has been a consistent weapon with 63 catches for 940 yards and three touchdowns on 102 targets in 13 games.
Ryan Tannehill Injury Update
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) recently underwent surgery after re-injuring his ankle in Week 15 against the Chargers. The signal-caller is hoping to return and has already started rehab, so there's a chance he will make it back this season.
However, Schefter added that it's a "long shot" Tannehill will see the field again in 2022-23. As a result, Malik Willis could lead the offense for the remainder of the year. The rookie has appeared in seven games during his inaugural campaign, throwing 177 yards and an interception while completing just 44.7% of his throws.
Christian McCaffrey Injury Update
McCaffrey (knee) was limited to start the week but did log a full practice session on Thursday. As a result, he has been removed from the injury report and a will play in Week 16. It goes without saying that the talented back ranks as a high-end RB1 once again.
Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) has been ruled out in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons for the third straight game. Tyler Huntley (shoulder) has been cleared to play and will make another start on Christmas Eve, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Jackson hasn't been able to practice since spraining his PCL in Week 13, and it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return next week. Huntley is dealing with a right shoulder issue, but he's good to go and will once again lead Baltimore's offense.
Hayden Hurst Injury Update
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) has been downgraded to out against the New England Patriots in Week 16. Hurst has missed the last two games against the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will miss his third straight on Saturday.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee) was removed from Friday's final injury report and will play in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Jones was listed as a limited participant in practice all week.
The 28-year-old carried the ball 17 times for 90 yards and also caught four of his five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown on 56 percent of the offensive snaps in the Monday night win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15. Backfield mate AJ Dillon left with a concussion, but he was cleared the following day and should continue working in tandem with Jones on Christmas Day.
