Today we're looking at the Myrtle Beach Bowl, which pits Marshall against UConn.

Khalan Laborn - RB - Marshall
Let's get the bad thing out of the way first. Laborn is already 24 years old, which isn't what you're necessarily looking for in a running back at the next level.
Laborn ended up at Marshall after starting his career at Florida State, where he had 63 carries for 297 yards and four touchdowns back in 2019. He didn't play the last two seasons. In his one season at Marshall, Laborn had 281 carries for 1,423 yards and 16 touchdowns. Maybe the lack of usage before 2022 means that he still has relatively young legs and could be a productive situational runner in the NFL?
Steven Gilmore - CB - Marshall
You probably know the Gilmore name from older brother Stephon. Yep, Steven's the younger brother of the NFL corner, and while he doesn't have the same ceiling, he's still a solid prospect.
Gilmore's highlight from this season was a pick-six to basically seal Marshall's upset win over Notre Dame back in September. Overall, he picked off three passes this season and had 39 tackles. He played a lot of special teams in college and should provide some good depth in the NFL.
Tommy Zozus - LS - UConn
UConn's a weird program. They were terrible a year ago, but then hired Jim Mora Jr. and suddenly made a bowl game.
There are some defensive players I could have mentioned here, but I think it speaks to the spirit of the Huskies to mention that long-snapper Tommy Zozus has already announced he'll be declaring for the draft.
I don't understand how to rank long-snappers very well, but the Twitter account above thinks he's a top 15 long-snapper!
