Trae Young Ties Season High With 15 Assists In Friday’s Win
Trae Young delivered an elite statistical performance in Friday's victory over the Warriors, compiling 33 points and 15 assists, good for his 37th double-double of the year. Young's 15 dimes tied his season high, as all five starters scored in double figures. The 23-year-old has heated up his production in March, averaging 29.5 points and 10.3 assists across 13 March contests. On the year, he has dished out 9.5 dimes on a nightly basis, ranking third in the league behind Chris Paul and James Harden, the only two players to average a double-double on points and assists. Next up for Young is a golden matchup with Indiana, whom he has sliced for 38 PPG across three meetings thus far in 2021-22, all while shooting 55.2% from behind the arc.
