3 NFL Prospects To Watch In The Boca Raton Bowl (Liberty vs Toledo): Demario Douglas, Jamal Hines, Desjuan Johnson

It's bowl season! If you haven't watched much college football this year, this is your last chance to see all these teams. And if you're an NFL fan, it's a chance to watch some players who could end up playing on Sunday, either next year or in the future.

Today we're looking at the Boca Raton Bowl, which pits Liberty against Toledo.

Below you'll find the top NFL prospects playing in the Boca Raton Bowl, which will be played on 12/20/2022 at 7:30 p.m. ET. And remember: in a landscape where top players sit out bowls more than ever, there's always a chance that a player mentioned doesn't play.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers won two writing awards and received 12 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association. A big congrats to our very own Byron Lindeque (Golf) and Jordan McAbee (NASCAR) for both winning Writer Of The Year awards! Be sure to follow RotoBaller's analysis and advice all year long, and win more. Win More With RotoBaller!

Demario Douglas - WR - Liberty

Not a ton of offensive firepower in this game, but Liberty wide receiver Demario Douglas is someone you should keep an eye on.

Douglas is an explosive receiver and while his 5-8 frame might scare off some teams, he's going to find a place in the NFL.

In his fourth season with the Flames, Douglas caught 73 passes for 977 yards and six touchdowns, while also adding 105 yards and a touchdown on the ground. His speed would make him an interesting slot receiver prospect, and worst case, I think he can return kicks on special teams in the NFL.

Jamal Hines - LB - Toledo

When it comes to Toledo, keep your eye on the defensive side. There are probably four names I could have mentioned in this piece from that side of the ball for the Rockets, but in the interest of saving space, I pared it down to two defenders, starting with Jamal Hines.

Hines played five seasons for the Rockets, finishing with 21.5 career sacks. 16 of those came over the last two years, as Hines really staked his mark on this defense. His age is a slight concern when it comes to the NFL, but he can be a productive player in the right situation.

Desjuan Johnson - DE - Toledo

Desjuan Johnson has been such a destructive player in the MAC this year.

The 6-3 edge rusher has 5.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss, along with one interception. One of the MAC's best defenders, Johnson knows how to get into the backfield and make things happen. He could be a Day 3 pick in April and would be a fun project for a team.
