Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 7:
Cam Skattebo, RB, Giants
Trade Value: 32.7
ROS Rank: 70
New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo rushed 19 times for 98 yards and three touchdowns during Thursday's upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. He also caught each of his two targets, totaling 12 receiving yards.
The rookie held onto his lead-back role despite Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) returning to action. Between his large volume, high efficiency, and nose for the end zone, Skattebo has proven that he deserves to be the bell-cow running back in New York.
He has established himself as a potential fantasy football league-winner and should rank as a fringe top-12 running back against the Broncos in Week 7.
Verdict: Buy if price is reasonable
DK Metcalf, WR, Steelers
Trade Value: 39
ROS Rank: 58
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf looked fresh coming off the bye week in the 23-9 victory over the division-rival Cleveland Browns in Week 6 on Sunday. Metcalf scored a touchdown for the fourth straight game and also caught four of his nine targets on the day for 95 yards.
The efficiency wasn't great, but Metcalf once again led the team in targets and receiving yards in a game in which the Steelers were never really threatened. The veteran wideout made up for his lack of efficiency against Cleveland by going for over 20 yards on all four of his receptions.
Metcalf is clearly quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top target every week in a receiving corps that doesn't have many other exciting options in the passing attack. In addition to four straight games with a touchdown,
Metcalf has topped 80 yards in three of his first five games in Pittsburgh. The 27-year-old should be a busy man on Thursday night in Week 7 in an excellent matchup against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals and their weak defense.
Verdict: Buy if price is reasonable
TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots
Trade Value: 27.3
ROS Rank: 82
New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson remains relegated to the No. 2 role on the depth chart, but he could still carve out some fantasy relevance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6.
Rhamondre Stevenson lost his third fumble of the season last Sunday, which is one reason why Henderson could be given more opportunities with the football this week. The rookie will also get more snaps and touches after Antonio Gibson (knee) was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
While we expect Stevenson to handle the majority of the snaps again this week, Henderson should still carve out a role for himself, especially against a New Orleans defense allowing the 11th-most rushing yards, seventh-most receiving yards, and 12th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2025. Henderson is a low-end RB3/flex this week.
Verdict: Avoid in most trades, target as stash/depth piece if your roster is strong
Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers
Trade Value: 44.3
ROS Rank: 49
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping that veteran wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) can return to practice this week, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. If Evans can get back on the practice field this week, it will give him a chance to return next Monday night for a Week 7 showdown against the Detroit Lions.
The 32-year-old has not practiced or played since straining his hamstring in Week 3. The Bucs could really use Evans back in the fold, as rookie Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) is now set to miss time after getting hurt in the Week 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Veteran Chris Godwin (leg) is also expected to miss a second straight game in Week 7.
If Evans cannot return to face Detroit next Monday, Tampa will be starting Sterling Shepard, Kameron Johnson, and Tez Johnson in three-wide sets. If Evans is up in the air for next Monday night, it will make for a difficult decision for fantasy managers as well.
Verdict: Buy low if you can, high upside in Bucs offense

Who Should I Trade For?
Week 7 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - TreVeyon Henderson, Justin Jefferson, Tetairoa McMillan, Mike Evans, Quinshon Judkins, Cam Skattebo, DK Metcalf. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.
Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.
How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.
How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
