Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Woody Marks, Houston Texans
Houston Texans running back Woody Marks should be one of the top waiver-wire priorities heading into Week 6 after David Montgomery (groin) exited Sunday's 26-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans in the second quarter and did not return. Marks took advantage of the increased workload, carrying 15 times for 62 yards and catching all four of his targets for another 23 yards. His 19 touches marked a substantial increase after he had failed to reach double-digit carries in any of his first four games.
The second-year back also scored rushing touchdowns in Weeks 3 and 4, and he handled 196 carries during his rookie campaign in 2025. Head coach DeMeco Ryans indicated Montgomery could miss some time, although his recovery timeline remains uncertain. Marks has the experience and receiving ability to provide meaningful fantasy production if given the lead role.
Ranked first on RotoBaller's Week 6 waiver-wire board and rostered in 53% of leagues, he warrants a claim in all formats and could offer RB2 value against Jacksonville if Montgomery remains sidelined.
MarShawn Lloyd, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd is a priority waiver-wire target entering Week 6 after finding the end zone twice in Sunday's 31-7 win over the Chicago Bears. Lloyd gained just 31 yards on 10 carries, but scored on runs of 10 and four yards while adding one reception for six yards. His opportunity has improved with Chris Brooks (ankle) on injured reserve and Josh Jacobs still on the Commissioner's Exempt List.
Lloyd led Green Bay's backfield with a 44.1% offensive snap share, although Pierre Strong Jr. was close behind at 40.7%, and Kaleb Johnson also handled seven carries. Strong ran more routes than Lloyd (16 to 10), so the passing-game work isn't guaranteed, either. Lloyd has averaged only 2.8 yards per carry through five games, making continued touchdown production difficult to count on.
Still, his increased involvement and goal-line opportunities give him the strongest waiver appeal in Green Bay's backfield. Rostered in 60% of leagues and ranked second on RotoBaller's Week 6 waiver-wire board, Lloyd warrants an add in all formats, with FLEX potential against Dallas.
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quadriceps) was seen on the practice field on Tuesday, according to Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer. Head coach Dave Canales said that Coker is "on track" to play in Week 6 on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, with the team coming off their bye week.
The 24-year-old missed the Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football, but the week off has treated him well, and he looks ready to return against Philly this weekend. Coker could be limited in practice early in the week, but the expectation is that he will suit up against the Eagles, where he should at least be in the flex conversation for fantasy managers.
The former undrafted free agent from Holy Cross has had a tough time staying healthy early in his NFL career, but he is the Panthers' clear WR2 when healthy, which gives him plenty of fantasy upside. Through three games so far in 2026, Coker has caught 18 of his 22 targets for 222 yards and three touchdowns. We will be closely following Coker's practice status this week from Wednesday through Friday.
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers scored 34 offensive points in a victory against the Indianapolis Colts, but that didn't amount to much for wide receiver DK Metcalf, who ended the day with just three catches for 12 yards and one rush for 11 yards. The veteran receiver was fourth on the team with four targets while running back Jaylen Warren and tight end Pat Freiermuth accounted for a combined four touchdowns.
Metcalf has now been held to four or fewer catches and 40 or fewer receiving yards in four of the Steelers' five games. Pittsburgh has a favorable second-half schedule for a receiver, but Metcalf is becoming increasingly difficult to trust in fantasy lineups. The Steelers will travel to Tampa in Week 6.
Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller has seen a ton of usage in his team's offense to this point in 2026, recording 29 carries for 83 yards and two touchdowns across four games. However, the 24-year-old may be emerging as the leader of the Saints backfield in the short term.
Saints RB1 Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) is currently on Injured Reserve and is not eligible to return until Week 9. While veteran back Alvin Kamara is the most established healthy name in the New Orleans running back room, Miller led the team in touches in Week 5.
Kamara has also been extremely inefficient as a rusher over the last two seasons, averaging just 3.5 yards per carry since the start of 2025. Heading into a favorable Week 6 matchup against the New York Giants, Miller could be a potential deep-league streamer for fantasy managers to target on the waiver wire.
