Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Washington Commanders
Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) was not seen at Friday's practice, which would be the second straight practice that he has missed with a groin injury, according to Tashan Reed of The Washington Post. The 25-year-old was limited in two practices last week due to a groin injury, but he was active in the Week 5 tie to the division-rival New York Giants and handled 11 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown on the ground while not being targeted in the passing game.
It is unclear if the second-year back has suffered a setback with his groin injury or if the Commanders are simply resting their RB1 going into a Week 6 tilt on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers. The good news is that JCM has one more day to potentially return to practice on Saturday, but as of now, he is looking questionable to play in Week 6.
If Croskey-Merritt cannot go on Monday night, Rachaad White would jump into the featured-back role for the Commanders, albeit in a tough matchup on the road against the 5-0 Niners.
Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson should not be slowing down as a high-floor fantasy wideout after the recent trade of former first-round receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans. Wilson disappointed in the Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions, catching four of his seven targets for 30 yards. The 26-year-old also completed a pass for just seven yards.
Veteran Kendrick Bourne has been more involved so far this year with Harrison struggling, but even with Bourne showing good chemistry with quarterback Jacoby Brissett, Wilson should bounce back as the team's WR1 going into a divisional matchup this weekend on the road against the Los Angeles Rams. Through the first five games of 2026, Wilson is the WR24 in half-PPR scoring, with 29 catches on his 51 targets for 288 yards and one touchdown.
The former third-rounder built strong chemistry with Brissett last year and recorded his first 1,000-yard receiving season with a career-high seven touchdowns. Their chemistry has spilled into this year, as Wilson is tied for third (with CeeDee Lamb) in targets (51). The Cardinals should continue to have plenty of positive game scripts for throwing the football, too. The only thing that could negatively affect Wilson's fantasy value would be an injury or Brissett being benched for rookie Carson Beck.
Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars
Across five games so far in 2026, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has recorded 15 catches for 202 yards and two touchdowns on 18 targets. While the veteran wideout's numbers don't jump off the page, his limited production is partially a function of his team's run-heavy game scripts.
Through five weeks, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is averaging just 28.6 pass attempts per game. Meyers leads Jacksonville wide receivers in snaps, and he's established himself as the team's clear WR2 alongside breakout wideout Parker Washington. If the Jaguars are forced to turn to the air a bit more going forward, Meyers could be well-positioned for an uptick in his numbers. In leagues where he remains available, Meyers could be an under-the-radar waiver wire target for fantasy managers.
