Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 5:
Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston has not disappeared from the offense, but there is not much fantasy value left in the role right now. He has seven catches for 108 yards on 19 targets through four games, and Week 4 summed up the problem pretty well: one catch for 44 yards on only two targets. Tre' Harris has been much more productive, with 13 catches for 209 yards on 21 targets, while Johnston has yet to score this season.
The Chargers still list Johnston as a starter on their unofficial depth chart, so this is not a case of him being completely phased out. The production just has not followed the playing time. RotoBaller's Week 5 Cut List labels Johnston a drop in most leagues, although its waiver coverage still leaves room for him as a boom-or-bust option in deeper formats. In standard leagues, Johnston can be dropped for a more useful option. Deeper leagues can justify one more bench spot if waivers are thin.
Malik Washington, Miami Dolphins
Although Miami Dolphins wide receiver Malik Washington is still searching for his first touchdown through four games in his first season in South Beach, it is clear that he has become quarterback Malik Willis' go-to downfield target through the air. It has helped that rookie wideout Caleb Douglas has missed the last couple of games due to an ankle injury. In the Week 4 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Washington led the Dolphins' receivers in snap count (34), catches (five), targets (five), and receiving yards (67), which were also a season high for him.
Through the first four games in 2026, the 25-year-old former sixth-rounder in 2024 from Virginia has 17 catches for 219 yards on 28 targets from Willis. Washington will be a decent WR3/flex option in Week 5 as the Dolphins seek their first victory of the year against the Cincinnati Bengals, especially if Douglas misses a third straight game due to his ankle injury. He is not a sexy fantasy option because of the offense he is in, but he deserves a look off the waiver wire and is rostered in only 31% of Yahoo leagues.
Roman Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson had his best game of the 2026 season so far in Week 4, recording three catches for 70 yards and a touchdown on six targets. Wilson has emerged as a downfield threat in the Pittsburgh passing game, as he's now logged at least 60 receiving yards and a touchdown in back-to-back weeks.
The 25-year-old has also seen exactly six targets in all four of the Steelers' games this season. With Wilson's ability to make big plays over the top of defenses, he could have a chance to provide consistent production if he can continue seeing steady target volume. In deeper fantasy leagues, Wilson could be an intriguing waiver wire target for fantasy managers.
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers looked unstoppable on the field during Sunday's contest versus the Tennessee Titans. Flowers has been dealing with a hamstring issue, but it didn't appear to impact his performance this weekend. Flowers hauled in eight of his 10 targets for 118 yards and a touchdown in the win.
He led the team in receptions, targets, and receiving yards during Sunday's game. When healthy, Flowers is a stud, but his value could take a hit with quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) going down in the first half. Jackson was seen in a walking boot following the game, but the team hasn't given much more information yet. Flowers would see his value take a hit if Tyler Huntley is under center during next week's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
