Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 13:
Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has been very inconsistent and outright untrustworthy in recent weeks. Since the bye in Week 5, Odunze has had fewer than four receptions and 55 yards in five of his last seven games and has only caught one touchdown during that span.
Odunze is averaging just 9.1 fantasy points per game since Week 6, on track to finish as the WR51 in that timeframe. The second-year receiver will look to bounce back against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have allowed the 10th most receiving yards in 2025.
While Odunze still offers WR3 value in Week 13, without consistent usage in this Ben Johnson offense, Odunze will remain volatile in fantasy.
Kenneth Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (glute) was limited again in Thursday's practice. It was the second straight day Walker logged a limited session. The 25-year-old will have one more day to log a full practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
He played through the glute injury during last week's win over the Tennessee Titans. Walker had 11 rushing attempts for 71 yards and added three receptions on four targets for 30 yards in the Week 12 win over Tennessee. He continues to share Seattle's backfield with Zach Charbonnet, but has out-touched Charbonnet 61 to 42 over the last four games.
Walker is a solid RB2 against the Vikings and is ranked 21st among all running backs in the latest RotoBaller rankings for Week 13.
Chris Rodriguez, RB, Washington Commanders
Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. (illness) was absent during Wednesday's practice due to an illness, but it shouldn't affect his status for Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. Rodriguez has established himself as Washington's primary ball carrier in recent weeks with the struggles of rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
The third-year back out of Kentucky led the backfield with a 45.3% snap share in Washington's Week 11 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Madrid, handling a career high 15 carries for 79 yards to go with one reception (one target) for six yards as a receiver.
He won't add much value as a receiver as Jeremy McNichols handles the pass-down responsibilities, but he should receive the majority of the early down work with Croskey-Merritt mixing in. Rodriguez has a tough matchup in Week 13 against Denver, but should get enough volume to profile as a low-end RB3.
DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (shoulder, chest, illness) is off the injury report and is all systems go for Friday's game against the Chicago Bears. Smith was a non-participant in Tuesday and Wednesday's practice, but practiced in full on Thursday.
The 27-year-old has been hot recently, topping 80 receiving yards or more in three of his last five games. Overall, he has caught 55 passes for 754 yards and three touchdowns over 11 weeks. The Bears' defense is getting healthier and is expected to get standout defensive back Jaylon Johnson (groin) back on Friday.
Despite Johnson's return, Smith is a low-end WR2 in fantasy against the Bears and is ranked 22nd among all wideouts heading into Week 13.
DJ Moore, WR, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore was able to find the endzone twice in Week 12, totaling 64 yards on five receptions in the 31-28 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite his strong showing against Pittsburgh, Week 12 marked just his second game of the season with seven or more targets in a game.
Whether it's due to the emergence of Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, and Colston Loveland or the strong workload given to the run game, Moore is a risky option for fantasy managers moving forward.
The Eagles host the Bears this weekend, and their secondary has given up the 10th most yards to wide receivers in 2025. Despite the ideal matchup, Moore is a FLEX play at best in Week 13.
