Miami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed has played as the No. 3-4 RB in various weeks for the league's most exciting offense.
Ahmed has scored two touchdowns and helped players in deep leagues as a waiver wire add. With all the injuries to Miami running backs, fantasy managers were hoping to find production from the team's backups. Unfortunately, Ahmed is another name to add to the Dolphins' injury list.
When will Salvon Ahmed be back? When will Ahmed return from injury? Let's look at the latest Salvon Ahmed injury news.

Salvon Ahmed's Latest Injury Update - November 24
Salvon Ahmed was placed on the Dolphins' IR on Tuesday with a foot injury. Ahmed played last week and didn't appear limited. He gained 31 yards from scrimmage and scored a touchdown.
Salvon Ahmed Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Ahmed showed up on the Week 11 injury report, but that injury was a rib injury. Ahmed was "full practice" every day of last week, so the foot injury was something new. It's possible he suffered it in the Raiders game but was still able to play, or it's possible he suffered it after the game.
Now that he is on the injured reserve, he'll have to miss at least the next four games. The earliest he'll be able to return is for Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys, but if Raheem Mostert, De'Von Achane, and Jeff Wilson Jr. are healthy then, Ahmed most likely will not get significant playing time.
Furthermore, Miami Herald reporter Barry Jackson says Ahmed is out for the season. Given the Fins' depth at running back, it doesn't make sense for them to try to rush him back.
Salvon Ahmed Fantasy Football Outlook
Assuming Ahmed really is out for the season, he will have finished 2023 with the lowest rushing total of his career. He gained 61 yards on 22 carries and scored a single touchdown.
Ahmed wasn't very effective at all. He only averaged 2.8 yards per carry and rushed for enough yards to make a successful play 36.4% of the time.
That said, he did have more catches (18) and more receiving touchdowns (one) than he did in any of his previous seasons. His best game was in mid-October against the Carolina Panthers when Ahmed barreled for 23 yards and a touchdown on six carries and made three receptions for 11 yards.
