When is Jasson Dominguez getting called up? Read about Jasson Dominguez's debut date and fantasy baseball prospect updates for 2024.
New York Yankees outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez, AKA "The Martian", showed off his "out of this world" skillset at the Major League level during a short stint last season.
The 5'9" switch-hitting speedster only played eight games with the Yankees before his season ended abruptly with an elbow injury.
He made the most of it powering his way to four home runs and seven RBI in those eight games. So when can we expect to see Dominguez back in a Yankee uniform?

Jasson Dominguez Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
After a long rehab from Tommy John surgery, Dominguez made his much anticipated 2024 debut with the Single-A Tampa Tarpons on May 14th. Only four games after his season debut, he was then promoted to the Double-A Somerset Patriots.

In ten games this season the 21-year-old has a solid .308/.386/.487 slash line with two home runs and six RBI. He hasn't contributed any stolen bases yet on the season, but that most likely has more to do with the timing of his recovery than his running ability. Due to the fact he is recovering from an arm injury and not a leg injury it wouldn't be shocking to start seeing him attempt to swipe some bags soon.
Jasson Dominguez Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
There are a lot of variables that could affect whether Dominguez is ready for a major league promotion this season. Right now, he currently has no clear path to playing time with the whole starting outfield being healthy with Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Alex Verdugo, as well as the DH spot being occupied with Giancarlo Stanton manning the helm there.

Barring any injuries the only chance of Dominguez getting some at-bats could be in the short side of a platoon due to his switch-hitting abilities, opposite of the left-handed hitting Verdugo. Any player on the short side of a platoon will hardly see enough plate appearances to be fantasy-relevant. Although it would be unwise to count on injuries occurring, between Judge and Stanton's long injury history it's hard to imagine both will be completely healthy for a whole season which would open the door for everyday at-bats for Dominguez.
Due to this and the fact that Dominguez has the skillset to be a 20-20 player on an annual basis, he is definitely worth a stash in all Dynasty leagues and most deep redraft leagues moving forward.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ team leagues CALL-UP ETA: July ANALYSIS: Unlike many players currently in the minor leagues, Chandler Simpson has proven he can be a valuable fantasy player at the MLB level. In his time in the majors, he hit .285 with 19 stolen bases in 35 games. Unfortunately, being a valuable fantasy player […]

Brady House - Fantasy Baseball Prospects Waiver Wire Stashes (Week 12)
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-team leagues CALL-UP ETA: June ANALYSIS: The Nationals went viral on social media this week for making a fun call-up. They called up their bat dog from Triple-A. While this was very cute and should improve the vibes a little bit in Washington, I don't think Bruce the Bat Dog will help […]

Samuel Basallo - Fantasy Baseball Prospects Waiver Wire Stashes (Week 12)
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-team leagues CALL-UP ETA: June ANALYSIS: Samuel Basallo might be the best hitter in the minors right now, and he has catcher eligibility. What more do you need to know (I know catcher is super deep this year, but still)? Basallo has been an age-to-level monster for the majority of his pro […]

Andrew Painter - Fantasy Baseball Prospects Waiver Wire Stashes (Week 12)
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-team leagues CALL-UP ETA: June ANALYSIS: Painter's last two starts don't give a ton of confidence that he is ready to be in the majors. It may not even be before the All-Star break before we see him, but that does not mean we are in stash territory. The good news is, […]

Colby Thomas - Fantasy Baseball Prospects Waiver Wire Stashes (Week 12)
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ team leagues CALL-UP ETA: July ANALYSIS: The A's continue to lose, and Colby Thomas continues to hit homers in Triple-A. The A's just got swept by the Angels, bringing their record to 26-44. While plays like Denzel Clarke's HR robbery can generate a spark for a team, the A's might need […]
