San Francisco star wide receiver Deebo Samuel is one of the NFL's most dynamic players. In 2021, Samuel had 1,770 scrimmage yards for the 49ers.
Unfortunately, Samuel has been banged up this season due to a shoulder injury. He was hurt early in Week 6 against the Browns and was held out of the team's Week 7 and Week 8 contests.
When is Samuel coming back to action? What is his fantasy football outlook when he returns? Let's dive in.

Deebo Samuel Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Deebo Samuel reportedly suffered a hairline fracture in his shoulder during the team's Week 6 game. He was initially expected to be out for two games, which ended up being the case.
It's unclear how quickly Samuel will return, but one encouraging sign is that the 49ers did not place the star wide receiver on the Injured Reserve. If they had, he would have been forced to miss at least four games.
With the 49ers on a bye in Week 9, fantasy managers should expect to see Samuel suit up on Nov. 12 when the 49ers visit the Jacksonville Jaguars barring a setback.
Deebo Samuel Fantasy Football Outlook
If Samuel is able to return for the team's next game against Jacksonville in Week 10, he'll be a solid fantasy WR2 for that contest and going forward. He isn't consistently producing big numbers like he has in the past, but he's still a dynamic threat with the ball in his hands.
Fantasy managers in deep leagues should consider adding 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings in case Samuel is out longer than expected. With Samuel out in Week 7, Jennings was targeted nine times, the most of any 49ers player. He caught five passes for 54 yards.
Deebo Samuel Injury Update - November 7
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) returned to practice on Monday. The 27-year-old injured his shoulder in the Week 6 loss to the Cleveland Browns and did not suit up for the Week 7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings or the Week 8 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. San Francisco was on a bye in Week 9, so he has had plenty of time to progress through his banged-up shoulder.
The 49ers travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 10, and Samuel is always on the fantasy radar if he's active.
