What You Need To Know - Top 10 Running Back Rankings Including Brian Robinson Jr., Jahmyr Gibbs, Kenneth Walker, and more

Jaymyr Gibbs - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS and Betting Picks

The top ranked running back fantasy football scorers - are these RB trade targets, risers and sleepers from Week 10 of 2023? Kyle reacts to the best fantasy RB performances and how to best assess your squads for the rest of the 2023 fantasy season.

Week 10 brought forth some lineup scrambling as some of the best offenses in football were on a bye. This week, the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, and Philadelphia Eagles all saw themselves on the sidelines. We now have just about a month left in the fantasy football regular season and soon you'll be getting those squads ready for the final stretch.

We didn't see a 30+ point game from any running backs in the fantasy landscape this week and plenty of new faces found themselves in the top 10. 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey saw his 17-game consecutive TD streak come to an end, but he still had a good week and is easily the fantasy MVP so far. The Lions had both of their RBs make the list as well, and both could easily be RB1 the rest of the way.

Week 11 won't be as brutal as Week 10 and will feature the Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, and New Orleans Saints all on a bye. The good news is no teams will be on a bye during Week 12. Here are the top 10 RBs based on half-PPR fantasy scores in Week 10 (excluding Monday Night Football). For those of you who are in need of some real-time stats, bookmark our live fantasy scoreboard to your browser. You'll get live updates, top performances, and more -- because who doesn't basically want some nonstop live fantasy action?

Top 10 Running Backs Of The Week

Here are the top 10 running backs from Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season in half-PPR scoring:

Rank Player Team Points
1 Brian Robinson Jr. WAS 24.7
2 Jahmyr Gibbs DET 24.7
3 Devin Singletary HOU 22.6
4 Austin Ekeler LAC 19.5
5 Kenneth Walker SEA 19.2
6 Jaylen Warren PIT 18.0
7 David Montgomery DET 17.6
8 Christian McCaffrey SF 17.2
9 Najee Harris PIT 17.1
10 Bijan Robinson ATL 17.1

1. Brian Robinson Jr., Washington Commanders

Alright, fantasy world, let's talk about Brian Robinson Jr., the man who turned the gridiron into his personal playground in Week 10. He only had eight rush attempts that chalked up 38 yards, but turns out Robinson was just warming up. The real jaw-dropper was his reception game -- targeted six times and he snagged every single one. And those receptions weren’t just for show -- they racked up a whopping 119 yards, capped off with a touchdown. It was like watching a chef create a perfect dish -- every ingredient just worked.

Now, let's talk fantasy points. If you had Robinson in your lineup, you're probably still doing your happy dance. Finishing as the top-scoring fantasy running back in Week 10 isn't just good, it's fantasy gold. And guess what? The stars seem to be aligning for Robinson to shine even brighter next week. The Commanders are squaring off against the New York Giants, and word on the street is it's an easy matchup. This could be another feast for Robinson, so if you've got him, you're sitting on a potential goldmine.

2. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions

Week 10 was a showcase for the Lions' rising star Jahmyr Gibbs, who lit up the field with a performance that had fantasy managers grinning. Gibbs turned on the jets, blasting through 14 rushing attempts to rack up an impressive 77 yards, coupled with not one, but two trips to the end zone. His magic didn't stop with the ground game; Gibbs was also a hot target in the air, with five passes coming his way. He snagged three of those for an additional 35 yards, adding just the right amount of spice to an already sizzling display. In a game that saw the Lions roar to victory, Gibbs stood out as a fantasy dynamo, delivering the kind of numbers that can turn a fantasy week from good to great. For the third straight week, Gibbs has finished as an RB3 or better.

3. Devin Singletary, Houston Texans

A bit of a surprise as nobody has stepped up in the Texans' backfield this year despite the offense being much better than expected. Singletary saw a total of 30 carries in Week 10. 30! That's not a typo, sheesh. He ran for 150 yards and a TD on top of having one reception for 11 yards. The Texans won again and starting RB Dameon Pierce was held out with an ankle injury. This backfield is going to be very interesting for fantasy going forward. Singletary needs to be rostered in all formats.

4. Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers

It's not always pretty on the ground, but Ekeler continues to perform for fantasy this year. On Sunday, he rushed 19 times for 67 yards and a TD on top of seeing seven targets to finish with four receptions for 48 yards. Ekeler is such an asset for fantasy because he sees such a large amount of high-value targets in terms of receptions and goal-line carries. The Chargers offense was clicking on all cylinders with 38 points and still lost. Poor Justin Herbert man.

5. Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks

Things were looking a little shaky for KWIII the last two weeks as he had been out-snapped by fellow RB Zach Charbonnet. Everything returned back to normal on Sunday as KWIII saw the lion's share of the work. He finished with 19 carries for 63 yards, but shined as a receiver with one reception for 64 yards and a TD. The Seahawks won against the Commanders on a last-second field goal by Jason Myers. Walker is still likely a TD-dependent play for fantasy, but he's such a dynamic runner in an offense that is still scoring plenty of points.

6. Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 10 might just go down as the Jaylen Warren show for the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's like watching someone about to seize the throne, with Warren nipping at the heels of the starting spot. He bulldozed through the game, rushing 15 times and racking up a whopping 101 yards, stamping his authority with a touchdown that screamed headline material. But he wasn't just a ground force; Warren flashed his versatility with two receptions, adding another nine yards to his tally. It's like he’s got a sixth sense for finding those gaps and exploiting them. The buzz around him is real -- he’s not just knocking on the door of the Steelers' backfield; he's practically ready to kick it down.

7. David Montgomery, Detroit Lions

Week 10 was a testament to the Lions' enviable depth in their running back department. Stepping into the spotlight, David Montgomery turned the football field into his own personal stage, delivering a performance that had fans and fantasy managers alike sitting up in their seats. With a dozen carries, he carved through the Chargers' defense like a hot knife through butter, amassing a jaw-dropping 116 yards. But the cherry on top? A touchdown that served as the exclamation point to his statement game. In a roster boasting not one, but two powerhouse running backs, Montgomery's showing was a clear reminder of the Lions' enviable arsenal in the backfield -- a duo that's quickly become a rare situation where both backs feel like RB1s the rest of the way.

8. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers

A very sad day that the 17-game touchdown streak came to an end, especially in a game that the 49ers won handily, 34-3. Nonetheless, with CMC being the ultimate teammate, he was likely happy to get the win and see the 49ers get back on track at 6-3 on the season. On Sunday, McCaffrey rushed 16 times for 95 yards and had 10 targets to finish with six receptions for 47 yards. Really hard to nitpick at CMC, who has easily been this year's fantasy MVP.

9. Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers

While he's been labeled as a fantasy bust for much of the season, Harris has quietly finished as the RB12, RB12, and RB9 in three out of the last four weeks. Harris is likely a TD-dependent play in fantasy since he isn't an explosive runner, but if he were in a better offense with more goal-line carries, he'd be an RB1 easily.

On Sunday in a win over the Packers, Harris rushed 16 times for 82 yards and a TD on top of having three receptions for 14 yards. The Steelers' identity is defense and Mike Tomlin should win Coach of the Year for having this team at 6-3. Seriously, the guy has done more with limited resources than MacGuyver.

10. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons

For the first time in his NFL career, Bijan went over the 20+ carry mark. Unfortunately, the Falcons lost on a field goal at the end of the game, but Robinson had a nice day back in his home state of Arizona. Robinson had 22 carries for 95 yards and a TD, but only finished with one receptions for 11 yards. We have yet to see any big weekly performances from Bijan this season as he's had just two rushing touchdowns, but it's pretty clear that head coach Arthur Smith has been holding him back. The Falcons' best shot at winning each week is making sure that Robinson has 20+ weekly touches at a minimum.
