Top Fantasy Football Injuries From Sunday: Cooper Kupp, Zach Ertz, Jerry Jeudy, Juju Smith-Schuster, Leonard Fournette

Jerry Jeudy - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, Draft Sleepers

Top Injuries From Week 10 fantasy football for RB, WR, QB, TE (2022), as of 11/14 -- Cooper Kupp, Zach Ertz, Jerry Jeudy, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Leonard Fournette.

The Week 10 slate of games on Sunday wasn't a generous one for notable fantasy football studs, and this late into the fantasy football season, each of the injuries could be very significant for rest-of-season outlooks. Our fantasy football injuries report highlights the banged-up players with fantasy significance and their early status heading into Week 11 as of Monday, November 14, 2022. This article focuses only on players who suffered injuries on Sunday of Week 10 games.

Cooper Kupp, Zach Ertz, Jerry Jeudy, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and  Leonard Fournette picked up bumps and bruises in Week 10. We can't know for sure how these injuries will progress before game time in Week 11, but it's never too early to at least take a look at the group of key guys to prepare for waiver wire Wednesday or Thursday.

Cooper Kupp Injury Update

After initial testing on Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp's ankle, he appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario with his injury, according to multiple sources. Kupp will undergo more testing in the coming days, though, in order for the team to get a more clear picture of the situation. Head coach Sean McVay said Kupp's injury "didn't look good, didn't sound good." Kupp's fantasy managers will be hoping it's not a season-ending injury, and although it sounds like he may have dodged a bullet, it doesn't mean he won't miss time.

The Rams' season is spiraling out of control, and Kupp has been their only consistent offensive weapon in 2022. The 29-year-old All-Pro wideout caught three of his five targets for minus-one year before getting hurt. If Kupp misses time, Brandon Powell could see added snaps out of the slot, with Van JeffersonAllen Robinson II and Ben Skowronek all seeing bigger roles as well.

Zach Ertz Injury Update

Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (knee) is expected to miss "multiple weeks," according to ESPN senior writer Adam Schefter. The veteran injured his knee on Sunday in the win over the Rams and didn't return. While the team believes Ertz's "ACL is intact," he will have an MRI on Monday, so he's not out of the woods just yet.

It's a tough blow for fantasy managers, mainly since the 32-year-old has been a top-five fantasy tight end this season, compiling 47 catches for 406 yards and four touchdowns. In the meantime, rookie Trey McBride, who had a catch for seven yards in Week 10, will attempt to fill the void moving ahead.

Jerry Jeudy Injury Update

The Denver Broncos are hoping that wide receiver Jerry Jeudy's (ankle) injury isn't serious. "We're hoping that we dodged a bullet there," head coach Nathaniel Hackett said. Jeudy was injured early in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans, was carted to the locker room and never returned. Before leaving the contest, Jeudy failed to reel in his only target from quarterback Russell Wilson.

Courtland Sutton dominated the target share (11) with Jeudy banged up, with running back Melvin Gordon III having the second-most targets with six. Fantasy managers will have to keep a close eye on Jeudy's progress next week to see if he'll have a chance of facing the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11. If he can't play, Kendall Hinton would likely continue to serve as Denver's No. 2 wideout.

Juju Smith-Schuster Injury Update

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster entered the concussion protocol after taking a scary hit from Jacksonville Jaguars safety Andre Cisco. Smith-Schuster immediately went to the ground and required attention from the training staff. Teammates huddled around as he was tended to.

Per NFL rules, since Smith-Schuster entered concussion protocol, he was not able to return in Week 10. The 25-year-old finished the day with two catches for 33 yards As always, concussions are impossible to predict, but if he has to miss any time, expect more work for Marquez Valdes Scantling and Kadarius Toney moving forward.

Leonard Fournette Injury Update

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette has a hip pointer and will be evaluated further, head coach Todd Bowles told the media. Fournette operated behind Rachaad White in Week 10 but still managed to produce 58 scrimmage yards and one touchdown.

The Buccaneers are heading into their bye week, so Fournette has plenty of time to recover before Tampa Bay takes on the Cleveland Browns in Week 12.
