Stefon Diggs fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Should you should start or sit Stefon Diggs for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR1
ANALYSIS: It's no secret that Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs is slumping, averaging 4.3 catches on 8.0 targets for 39.3 yards with one total touchdown over his past six games. What's even more troubling is that Diggs has just two red-zone targets in his last six outings, as Buffalo has leaned more on quarterback Josh Allen's rushing ability when they are near the painted area.
Diggs sustained an apparent neck issue in Week 16, and he's concerningly played 50% and 60% of the Bills' offensive snaps during his past two dates. It leaves us fair to speculate if the 30-year-old superstar is hurting and the team is managing his workload.
Diggs sees a promising chance to escape the funk, however, on Sunday versus the New England Patriots, who he has 46 catches for 627 yards and seven TDs in seven career games against as a Bill. Diggs' downturn has lingered long enough, though, that he now teeters on the WR1/2 edge for Week 17's fantasy championship. Still, he remains a must-start in leagues of ten teams or more. Hopefully, his best performance of the season comes in this crucial spot for fantasy managers.
