ANALYSIS: Baltimore Orioles catching prospect Samuel Basallo has continued to find his footing at Triple-A and is quickly approaching his MLB debut. Basallo missed some time earlier in the Triple-A regular season due to hamstring and back injuries.

However, over the past two weeks, the young backstop has been one of the most productive hitters at the level. In his last 13 contests, the top prospect in Baltimore has posted a .279/.415/.721 slash line with four doubles, five home runs, and a 12:10 K:BB. During his first 18 games of the campaign, Basallo carried a modest .210/.286/.419 line.

Last season, the 20-year-old spent most of his time with Double-A, where he posted a .289/.355/.465 line with 22 doubles and 16 round-trippers across 106 contests.

Even though the Orioles have Adley Rutschman behind the dish, Basallo could find time at their DH spot and provide a much-needed spark to their lineup. For now, fantasy managers in 12+ team two-catcher leagues should consider starting Basallo.
