ANALYSIS: At no point this season has Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman been a fantasy relevant player. He's had a few big games, but they've been entirely unpredictable and come off the backs of big plays. He doesn't earn enough targets to be a safe starter in any week.

Also, the Ravens traded for Carolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson because they needed help at the position. If Bateman was a good receiver, this trade might not happen. But they don't have enough firepower at WR to beat a team like the Kansas City Chiefs, and without DJ, they'd likely lose to the defending Super Bowl Champions in the playoffs again.
The offense should gradually lean toward targeting the former Panther more, as well as airing out plenty of passes for second-year pro Zay Flowers, and Bateman is likely the first in line to lose targets. There isn't much reason for the team to feed him the ball more, given his performance throughout his career.
