Quentin Johnston's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Quentin Johnston for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end Flex
ANALYSIS:
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston caught three of his four targets for 91 yards in the Week 14 loss to the Denver Broncos. This marked the highest snap percentage for the rookie this season as he saw 88 percent of snaps played against the Broncos. The wideout has totaled 29 catches for 333 yards and one touchdown on the season.
In Week 15, the Chargers will face off against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, a team that ranks 10th in the NFL in fewest receiving yards allowed and 10th in fewest receiving touchdowns caught this season. This could hurt Johnston's upside as the Raiders' defense could cause problems for QB Easton Stick and the Chargers' offense.
It has taken nearly the entire season for the rookie to find his rhythm in the Chargers offense, but it's a great sign to see that Johnston has now seen over 75 percent snap percentage in five of his last six games played. It means offensive coordinator Kellen Moore could be putting more faith into Johnston but his value for fantasy managers is still in the air.
Johnston can be viewed as a solid flex option with low-end WR3 upside in Week 15 against the Raiders. He's ranked as the WR68 in our Half-PPR rankings.
