Zay Jones Bigger And Stronger
6 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones added eight to 10 pounds of lean muscle mass to his upper body in the offseason. He's also fully healthy and a full participant in offseason workouts and practices. Jones led the team in catches (56), receiving touchdowns (seven) and receiving yards (652) last year after a disappointing rookie season in 2017. Five of his scores came in the last five games as he developed more chemistry with rookie quarterback Josh Allen. Jones excelled more in zone coverage last year, but his added strength should help him in man-to-man matchups. The additions of Cole Beasley and John Brown could both help and hurt Jones as he attempts to improve on his 2018 numbers.
