Yoan Moncada Taking Better Care Of His Body
2 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada has impressed new manager Pedro Grifol so far. Moncada is scheduled to play for Team Cuba in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, which is a risk for a player that has had his fair share of injuries over the years. He hit just .212/.273/.353 with 12 home runs in 104 games in 2022, but he prepared extra hard this offseason in a way that he thinks will bode well for his health and performance. "I did everything," Moncada said. "Took better care of my body, exercises to be more athletic and move better." Moncada suffered an oblique strain on the last day of camp last year and didn't make his season debut until May 8. Fantasy managers just aren't sure which version of Moncada they are getting. He's ranked by RotoBaller as the No. 25 fantasy third baseman.
