X-rays on Ha-Seong Kim's Foot Come Back Negative
Ha-Seong Kim (foot) left his team's 4-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Sunday in the seventh inning after fouling a ball off his left foot. X-rays on Kim's foot were negative, according to Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun. This foot injury is the latest blow in what has been a frustrating season for Kim. The 29-year-old missed the first three months of 2025 due to recovery from a torn labrum that ended his 2024 season. He battled a calf injury almost immediately after his return on July 4 and will now deal with this foot ailment. Kim has hit .227 with a home run and a stolen base in the 22 plate appearances he's logged so far this year. In 470 plate appearances in 2024, Kim slashed .230/.330/.370 with 11 home runs, 47 RBI, 60 runs scored, and 22 stolen bases. The All-Star break will give him a chance to recover, potentially without missing any games.
