Will the Packers Upgrade Christian Watson's Role?
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson returned just two weeks ago, but he could get a big-time upgrade in his opportunity moving forward for the Packers. With the season-ending knee injury to Packers tight end Tucker Kraft, Watson could be the biggest beneficiary of Kraft being out of the lineup. Watson has four targets in each of his two games since returning from an ACL injury in Week 18 last year, but his workload has ramped up from 65% of routes per dropback in Week 8 to 75% in Week 9. With the litany of injuries surrounding the Packers' pass-catchers, somebody other than Romeo Doubs will have to take the initiative and earn more targets in this offense. With Watson now healthy, he seems like the best bet for that job right now for Green Bay. With the Packers hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10, consider Watson a low-end flex option for fantasy, with the potential for much more.
